Named after the original telegraph station, Alice Springs was born out of the early developments in new technology. So keeping up with tradition, the Alice Springs Convention Centre offers State-of the art technology and equipment that will make your event seem ahead of its time. Our In-House audio visual specialists can assist in creating the look & sound you need, providing everything from basic wireless lapel microphone through to a concert PA system, staging lighting video/computer projectors and more.
For your catering requirements, menus and beverage packages can be created to make the most of your expectations. From a themed morning tea break to a stunning sunset cocktail party, and the most lavish and delicious banquets imaginable, our menu can be tailor made to suit your needs.

The Alice Springs Convention Centre, with an abundance of natural light and spectacular views of the MacDonnell Ranges, is a modern and fresh alternative for conferences and incentives. The Centre boasts state of the art facilities and professional friendly service.

Catering for up to 1200 delegates in the MacDonnell Room with an additional capacity for a further 500 in the Ellery Room, the centre offers delegates the opportunity to experience the true essence of the outback while enjoying thoroughly modern, technologically advanced facilities, unique activities and exciting themed events. The Alice Springs Convention Centre offers a unique destination - the true outback.

Small Meetings
With several well appointed Boardrooms and the Ellery Rooms, the Centre can easily cater for small meetings or workshops, ensuring attention to detail is a high priority.

The Ellery Room is a versatile room, as the entire area can be divided into 2 or 4 smaller rooms, with a quarter Ellery Room accommodating up to 140 guests theatre style or half Ellery Room accommodating up to 180 classroom style. In addition, each wall within this area is also lined with higher than average Industry Standard sound proofing, ensuring privacy and minimal disruptions.

The Boardroom One is fully appointed with a 14 seat boardroom table, speaker phone, wall mounted wooden cased whiteboard, permanent screen and data projector. An impressive teak buffet hutch specifically designed for this room inconspicuously incorporates a bar fridge and beautifully displays your beverage and catering requirements.

Boardroom Two is conveniently located directly next to Boardroom One, and can seat 10 guests comfortably around the teak board table.

Conferences
The Alice Springs Convention Centre is a modern and fresh alternative for conferences and incentives. This multi-purpose venue will cater for up to 1200 guests theatre style and 800 guests banquet style, (subject to entertainment and audiovisual requirements), in the main MacDonnell room.

The largest room in the Centre, the MacDonnell Room, can be divided into two for greater flexibility. Large vehicle access doors create additional flexibility to the Centre allowing large vehicles to be brought directly into the room for loading and unloading.

The Ellery Room can cater for up to 560 guests theatre style and 350 guests banquet style when fully utilised. The Ellery room can also be divided into two or four rooms for smaller groups and functions.

The Porte Cochere creates a formal and versatile entrance to the Centre leading into the Ghan Foyer. The foyer, looking out onto the Courtyard, can be utilised as the main registration area, hosting a large fully appointed registration desk, or it can hold up to 10 exhibition stands. The foyer looking out into the courtyard can also be utilised for daytime meal breaks, pre-dinner drinks, cocktail receptions and small intimate dinners.

The Courtyard, facing the ranges, offers a spectacular setting for outdoor functions for up to 200 people and can also be utilised for conference catering.

The Circulation and Gallery areas are also very versatile. The walls are velcro and pin friendly providing cost effective display space.

Exhibitions
As a purpose built convention and exhibition centre, the Alice Springs Convention Centre features a range of function rooms and exhibition space that can easily be adapted for any event.

The MacDonnell Room features a nine metre high ceiling and has 1260m² of floor space. The room can be divided into either one or two thirds. With vehicle access into the room, there is no task too big or too small! The room also has the ability to suspend a vehicle from the roof trusses and capacity to host up to 60 3mx3m booths.

The Ellery Room has has 576m² of floor space and can be broken down to either half or quarters.

There is also 433m² of additional exhibition space in the Ghan Foyer, as well as an outdoor Courtyard and Marquee Area.
The Centre offers power, phone line and plumbing services in addition to state of the art equipment. The Centre's onsite audiovisual company, Top End Sounds, offers a wide range of equipment and services, with technicians readily available to assist with all your audiovisual needs.

Flexibility is our forte, with the Centre easily capable of catering for all group sizes - with a creative variety of set-ups.

Social Events
There is no better place in the Alice to host your Formal Dinner, Ball or Wedding than at the Alice Springs Convention Centre.

The Centre can cater for 800 guests banquet style in the MacDonnell Room, and 350 guests banquet style in the Ellery Room, (subject to entertainment and audiovisual requirements).
